Once you have a smoothie you love and know what proportions of ingredients to use, it’s super easy to create variations. This smoothie is almost identical to my maca cardamom smoothie. I just substituted frozen mango for banana and cinnamon for cardamom.
I usually pair maca with banana, but this smoothie shows that maca loves mango as well! Vanilla and cinnamon complement the warm toasty maca flavor. Frozen cauliflower adds plenty of body but still goes completely undetected while sipping this smoothie.
- 1 c. unsweetened almond milk
- 1 c. frozen mango
- 2 c. frozen cauliflower florets
- 2 T. hemp hearts
- 2 T. chia seeds (optional: soak in 2 T. water for 10 minutes)
- 1 T. maca powder
- ½ tsp. vanilla extract
- ¼ tsp. cinnamon
- Combine all ingredients in a blender until smooth.
